The Mudville Security Properties, also known as the SPs, is managed by Russ Barton and head coached by Cory Smith. Coach Smith skippered the Mudville Pinnacle 16Us in 2008 and serves as the Assistant Coach for Mercer Island HS the past two years.

The Mudville SPs were established in 2006, Mudville's 10th team overall to form. GM and Coach Barton has general managed and coached the SPs for six years. Formally the Lexus Team based out of Mercer Island three years previous to joining Mudville, the SPs have been together for six years and are one of the most successful clubs in Mudville history. In 2009 the Mudville SPs will compete in the Washington State 14U Sandy Koufax League.

Cory Smith
Cory was an All-KingCo shortstop at Inglemoor High School before playing at Edmonds Community College, Oklahoma State University, New Mexico State University, and then 3 years in the minor leagues. In his junior year at NMSU against the University of Pacific, he proudly remembers his greatest production day at the plate; 8 for 8, two homeruns, 3 doubles, 12 RBI, 7 runs, with 19 total bases.

Cory joined Mudville in 2008 as the Head Coach for the Mudville Pinnacle 16U team in the Mickey Mantle League. He is in his third year as an assistant coach at Mercer Island High School. Cory is a 1994 graduate of Inglemoor before receiving a BA in Psychology and minor in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University. He received a Master’s in Teaching with Certification from City University of Seattle. His family remains in the Northshore area where Cory is a substitute teacher and coach by day. He coaches football at Woodinville HS and has been coaching baseball for over 10 years from Junior High through college levels.

The Mudville Beasts, Mudville's youngest team is coached by GM and Head Coach Jeff Sass. The Beasts where founded in the summer of 2008 by Jeff and Mark Ganley. In 2009 the Mudville Beasts will compete in the Washington State 13U Sandy Koufax League.
